About Katie
Lewis
Katie is an 18
year old student from Bristol where she lives with
her parents. She has a boyfriend (sorry, guys!).
Katie hates animals - "they smell, they're annoying
and expensive"! She also hates unhygienic people -
and feet make her feel sick.
Her ambitions are
to be rich, and famous; to sing and to be happy.
She predicts that in 10 years she will be singing
and acting on stage. She says she will then have
enough money to have a nice house and start a
family.
Her hobbies are
acting and "drinking pints of lager and black
through a straw". Katie has a BTec in Performing
Arts and is a classically trained
singer.
She is part of
"Starlight" dance and theatre club and has done
television extra work, appearing in 'Casualty' and
'Teachers'. Katie likes everything from opera to
pop to jazz although she is most influenced by
Madonna, Eva Cassidy (her most inspiring song is
'Somewhere Over The Rainbow' because "Eva uses her
voice in so many different ways through out the
song") and Celine Dion. Her favourite songwriter is
Stephen Sondheim.
